For wedding cakes - minimum 4 weeks.

For special occasion cakes including birthday, christening or graduation cakes that require elaborate or specific decoration - minimum 1 week.

For everyday orders - minimum 48 hours - we ask that orders be placed by 12.00 two days before they are required.

We accept last minute orders only in exceptional circumstances and at the manager’s discretion.

We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Telephone payments may be made but must be accompanied by a written order and a faxed photocopy of the credit card and ID of the credit card holder. Payments by cheque should be made payable to Josephine Patricia Scorer.

We request a minimum 20% deposit for all large orders at the time of order which can be paid in cash or with a credit card. For smaller orders a deposit may be asked for at the manager’s discretion. We accept credit charge payments by telephone. Any deposit will be refunded in full up to 48 hours before an order is due.

Our delivery charges are as follows:
Rome historic centre and Prati: €15,00
Within the GRA: From €15,00
Outside the GRA: From €30,00

Collection can be done at any time from our shop during shop hours, or directly from our on-site kitchen outside shop hours if necessary (to be arranged with our staff). We advise that elaborately decorated or tiered cakes are not collected by motorbike or scooter as these cakes are fragile and require careful transportation. Once a cake has been collected and has left the store, Josephine’s Bakery cannot be held responsible for its safety.
